The Greater Bottineau Area Chamber of Commerce is the front door of Bottineau and Lake Metigoshe. Detailed civic information is given out by means of telephone calls, electronic and written correspondence to residents, newcomers, visitors and potential business prospects. Welcome packets are distributed to visitors attending conferences and events as well as to new and prospective residents. Area information such as calendar of events, lists of organizations, accommodations, maps brochures and community profile are compiled and always available upon request. Assistance is given to groups for accommodations and activities. Ongoing projects and Programs
Current Chamber Committees Agriculture: Hosts the annual International Seed & Ag Show each January. Education: Hosts annual scholastic awards night. Serves as a link between schools and the business community. Retail: Involved in assisting downtown businesses with retail promotions. Ambassador: Coordinates business visitations and membership recruitment. Works on Chamber-sponsored events such as Business after Hours. Tourism: Works on promoting tourism in the Bottineau and Lake Metigoshe areas. Works with local businesses to assure that visitors have a positive experience when visiting the area. Recruits conventions and conferences. Hunting: Coordinates the annual Greater Bottineau Area Shoot-out. Also address legislative hunting issues. Bike Trail: This group is currently working on establishing a hiking/biking trail around the community. Beautification: Involved in improving the overall appearance and appeal of our city. Mission:
